Tuck Me In

The wind from my fan is hitting me pretty hard but I don’t seem to care about the chills. The dark thoughts are filled with the voice of Adele, who sings blues in my ears. My head aches and I’m tired but for some reason, I don’t want to sleep, not without you lying next to me. I’m trying to remember when that last was. I rub the tip of my nose hoping it’ll light up and guide me through this darkness; it worked for Rudolph. Floetry, say yes. I wish you had said yes. Kiss me goodnight, sweet dreams and tuck me in.
