Pressing On

It’s so hard to encourage another when you need encouragement yourself. When you feel weak, broken, cold and alone, it’s a challenge to speak smile for the person beside you. How do you know who to comfort first, them or you. This world we reside in doesn’t care for our feelings, nor does it care for us to overcome our heartaches. It’s a pity but each man fights for themselves and, if lucky, for the ones they love.  I told her I’d be her strength if she were to be mine but it’s nearly impossible for us to both find strength to pretend it’s all okay. I pray that through it all, our God will not fail us because He never has and promised He never will.

I feel like going on.
