What is love?

A question asked world wide. Everyone claims to be in it yet has no idea what is it. I’ve decided to go a quest to find the true meaning of love. Hope you learn something along  the way, I hope I learn something!

BTW feel free to skim because its kind of long , a topic like this is bound to be long.

4 a: the object of attachment, devotion, or admiration <baseball was his first love> b (1) : a beloved person : darling —often used as a term of endearment (2) British —used as an informal term of address

5 a: unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another: as

Urban Dictionary defines love as . . .

The most spectacular, indescribable, deep euphoric feeling for someone. Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you’re in love, you always want to be together, and when you’re not, you’re thinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete. This love is unconditional affection with no limits or conditions: completely loving someone. It’s when you trust the other with your life and when you would do anything for each other. When you love someone you want nothing more than for them to be truly happy no matter what it takes because that’s how much you care about them and because their needs come before your own. You hide nothing of yourself and can tell the other anything because you know they accept you just the way you are and vice versa. It’s when they’re the last thing you think about before you go to sleep and when they’re the first thing you think of when you wake up, the feeling that warms your heart and leaves you overcome by a feeling of serenity. Love involves wanting to show your affection and/or devotion to each other. It’s the smile on your face you get when you’re thinking about them and miss them. Love can make you do anything and sacrifice for what will be better in the end. Love is intense, and passionate. Everything seems brighter, happier and more wonderful when you’re in love. If you find it, don’t let it go.

One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life:

That word is love.

But even with all these definitions love varies from person to person.

Personally my definition of love is. . .

Love is that feeling you have for a person that you’ve grown attached to regardless of the negative things you have experienced together. Love is looking past every flaw that person has and realizing that even with their flaws their perfect. Love is when you live with the fear of losing them knowing that life without them would never be the same. Love is that feeling that brings you through your toughest days knowing that you have that person to go home to.

Love is the strongest emotion in my opinion. That’s why I think I haven’t been in lobe yet. Im not strong enough withstand the capcity of emotions that love entails. Love is a feeling that is beyond our knowlegde , its like a whole new level of understanding or of life itself. But we all aspire to be in it , not knowing the consequences of it itself.

Deep huh?

Love should have a warning label because once you’ve fallen in it , yu may never return back to your orginal state. So as much as we want love , we should check ourselves and see if we are mature enough to handle it. Never take love for garanteed.

Love yourself and love will find its way to you.
